Terms of Use

Effective 14 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Brimlet, a single-player lava puzzle game for iOS that runs entirely on your device.

Agreeing to these terms

By installing or playing Brimlet you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the game.

Your licence to play

You may use Brimlet for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment. This licence is personal to you, can't be transferred, isn't exclusive, and may be withdrawn if these terms are broken.

Flints, specimens and other finds

Flints, specimens, tempers, glazes and strata are earned only by playing. They exist only inside the game, have no value outside it, and can't be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything real. Brimlet has no purchases of any kind. Your finds live on your device and are lost if you delete the app or flood the tubes from the Vents screen.

Fair play

Please don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer, tamper with or redistribute the game or any part of it.

Who owns what

The game, including its chambers, art, sounds, music, text and code, belongs to its developer, Bridger Hawthorne. Playing it gives you the licence above, not ownership.

No guarantees

Brimlet is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. The developer is not liable for any loss arising from using the game, to the extent the law allows.

Players of every age

Brimlet is a gentle game suitable for a general audience.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version always lives on this page, and continuing to play means you accept it.
